Our Client is seeking an experienced Pizza Chef/Cook 2 years minimum experience.
Must be hard-working, organised, creative, and passionate about food and customer service. You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be a team player and also able to work unsupervised. This includes a flexible schedule ranging from days, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Applicants must possess:
DUTIES
1) Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices.
2)Able to create Gourmet style pizzas
3) Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.
4) Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils.
5) Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment.
6) Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food to waiters or patrons.
SKILLS & KNOWLEGE
1) Food Production -- Knowledge of techniques and equipment for planting, growing, and harvesting food products (both plant and animal) for consumption, including storage/handling techniques.
2) Customer and Personal Service -- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
MUST HAVE
Min. 2 years experience
CERT 3/4 Commercial Cookery
CERT 3/4 Hospitality Management
High level of English Communication
Salary from $40k per annum - $52k depending on experience
